Tony Fabrizio and Bob Ward, founding partners of research consultancy Fabrizio Ward, have led polling operations for Fortune 500 companies, presidential campaigns, trade groups, international political campaigns and NGOs, specializing in opinion research, political strategy, corporate strategy as well as issue and crisis management, with clientele that spans the globe.

Tony Fabrizio served as chief pollster and strategist for former Senator Bob Dole’s 1996 Presidential campaign. He has advised a multitude of leading policymakers and political institutions including: U.S. Senators, Congressional members, Governors and many statewide officials. Fabrizio’s corporate acumen has earned him a reputation as a leader in consumer research, marketing, crisis management, image management, market positioning and public affairs; he has consulted for several Fortune 500 businesses including: Visa, Hewlett-Packard, AOL/Time-Warner, FedEx, Pfizer, American Home Products, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AT&T, Harrah’s, Phillip Morris, Cendant and G-Tech. Fabrizio has also worked with many leading trade associations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Restaurant Association, the Heritage Foundation and the National Rifle Association.

Bob Ward is a veteran political pollster with extensive opinion research experience in corporate image, reputation and issues management. Ward’s versatile client experience includes consulting in the financial services, health care, biotechnology and information technology sectors, to name just a few. Providing expert analysis to a host of corporate clients, Ward has worked on myriad policies, issues and initiatives, both national and international in scope. In the political realm, Ward served director of opinion research for Bob Dole’s 1996 Presidential campaign. He also served as pollster to Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and Strategic Information Director at the Republican National Committee. Previously, Bob led the Roper Public Affairs Issues Management research group in the Washington, DC office of GfK. He has also worked for the polling firm Public Opinion Strategies.

Fabrizio and Ward, who will be based out of Mercury’s Florida and Washington, DC offices, will direct the polling capability effective January 2014.
