Maureen Jasculca is a Managing Director at Mercury Public Affairs, based in Chicago, where she advises clients on strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.

A trusted advisor to senior leaders, Maureen partners with nonprofits, foundations, government agencies, and education institutions to inform, engage, and strengthen communities.

Maureen has a strong track record of helping organizations execute successful stakeholder engagement campaigns and high-impact communications strategies. Her experience spans integrated communications campaigns, messaging, crisis communications, earned media, as well as media and presentation training.

Prior to joining Mercury, Maureen founded and led MJ Strategic Communications, a Chicago-based strategic communications and public affairs consultancy, where she advised a diverse portfolio of mission-driven clients and built long-term partnerships focused on social impact.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications, APCO Worldwide, and the Terra Foundation for American Art.

Maureen has supported high-profile initiatives and events for former U.S. Presidents, as well as state and city elected officials. In 2011, she served as deputy planning director for the APEC Women in the Economy Summit in San Francisco, hosted by Secretary Hillary Clinton and Senior Advisor to President Obama Valerie Jarrett, to advance opportunities for women and girls globally. She has also helped lead communications for global convenings such as the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates and The Chicago Community Trust’s “On the Table” initiative. She was also selected as a U.S. Department of State Professional Legislative Fellow, working internationally to strengthen nonprofit communications in Istanbul.
