Katie Lewis is a Senior Vice President in Mercury’s Washington, D.C. office, where she develops and executes high-profile public affairs and crisis management campaigns on behalf of foreign governments, multilateral organizations, NGOs, and private sector entities seeking to advance their political, commercial, and branding interests in the U.S. and around the world.

In this capacity, Katie develops and implements government relations, third-party stakeholder engagement, and business development strategies to help her clients achieve their policy goals, increase awareness of and cultivate allies around their most important issues, enhance their reputation, and launch partnerships that provide the competitive edge necessary for today’s global economy.

Prior to joining Mercury, Katie worked at BGR Group, where she helped foreign governments strengthen their bilateral political and commercial ties with the U.S., promoted foreign direct investment in competitive markets like the Middle East, assisted American companies in expanding their domestic and global footprints, analyzed major foreign policy developments, and helped to implement clients’ marketing and branding strategies.

Originally from Oxford, Mississippi, Katie earned a Bachelor’s degree from New York University, where she studied international relations and politics.
