Robert W. Jones is a Managing Director practicing in both the Washington, DC and Austin, Texas offices. Robert brings over 30 years of experience in government relations, public affairs and public policy having worked in leading executive roles at Fortune 50 multinational companies as well as government.

Robert previously served as Senior Vice President of US Government Relations and Public Affairs at Pfizer. In his role, Robert led Pfizer’s integrated government relations, advocacy, public affairs, international trade policy, grassroots and political operations at the federal, state and local levels, elevating Pfizer’s reputation as a preeminent model of effectiveness and success.

Prior to his work leading US Government Relations and Public Affairs for Pfizer, Robert held several key positions at the company, including an assignment at its corporate headquarters in New York leading teams coordinating with key business units of the company to maximize access in public and private payer programs. During his time at Pfizer, Robert served as lead for many influential organizations including the National Governors Association, the National Association of Attorneys General, US Chamber of Commerce, PhRMA and BIO.

Robert holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Houston Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs Business School at The University of Texas at Austin.

Robert has a long history of community and professional engagement with various boards and committees in Washington, DC, Austin, Texas and Santa Fe, NM, including Corporate Chair of the Meridian Global Leadership Summit, US Chamber of Commerce, Texas Medical Association Foundation, Keystone Policy Center, Ford’s Theater, Santa Fe Farmer’s Market Institute and The University of Texas Development Board. He and his wife Marsha live in Austin, Texas.
