Mercury Florida Announces Danielle Alvarez as Vice President of Public Relations

MIAMI, Fla. — Today, Mercury announced a new addition to their Florida public affairs team, Danielle Alvarez, who is joining the team as Vice President. A Florida native with diverse and extensive experience in the culture and politics of the Sunshine State, Danielle will advance the ongoing expansion of Mercury and help build out the Florida team.

Danielle is a seasoned strategist and brings years of experience in communications, government relations, event execution, coalition building and grassroots mobilization. Most recently, Danielle served as the Director of External affairs at Enterprise Florida, Florida’s primary organization devoted to statewide economic development. She previously served as the Press Secretary for Florida Lt. Governor Carlos López-Cantera, where she managed all communication for the Lt. Governor in both English and Spanish. During the 2014 election cycle, Danielle was the Statewide Events Coordinator for the successful re-election campaign of Governor Rick Scott.
