Prior to joining Mercury, Erick worked in public service and ran his own consultancy, serving high profile Democrats such as Leon Panetta, Steny Hoyer, John Dingell, John Lewis, Chuck Schumer, Bill Bradley, General Wes Clark, Hillary Clinton and candidates for high office across the country.

Erick serves on the Board of Trustees of the Lowell School, the Board of Directors of Plastics Free America and is a member of the John Carroll Society, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and Sons of the American Revolution and the University Club. A 1995 graduate of George Mason University, Erick and his wife live with their two daughters in Washington, D.C.
