Fabiola Rodriguez is a Senior Vice President at Mercury, based in Washington, D.C. A seasoned bilingual communications and political strategist, she brings nearly a decade of experience in government, political campaigns, media relations, and strategic communications.

Served under the Biden-Harris administration as a press secretary to U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. 

Former deputy communications director to former Attorney General Eric Holder.

Deputy national press secretary and Hispanic media advisor at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee during the 2020 cycle. 

Served as a communications and legislative staffer to several California members in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

B.A. in Sociology and Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Fabiola Rodriguez is a Senior Vice President at Mercury, based in Washington, D.C. A seasoned bilingual communications and political strategist, she brings nearly a decade of experience in government, political campaigns, media relations, and strategic communications. 

Fabiola most recently served under the Biden-Harris administration as a spokesperson and press secretary to U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. In this role, she managed a press team responsible for advancing the Biden-Harris messaging priorities. Prior to joining the administration, Fabiola served as deputy communications director to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder at the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. In this position, Fabiola supported Attorney General Eric Holder and the organization in developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure fair voting rights and districts across the country. 

Fabiola also served as deputy national press secretary and Hispanic media advisor at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and as a press secretary and legislative staffer to several California members in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and is working on a master’s degree in Political Communication at the Johns Hopkins University. 

Fabiola is a native of California’s San Joaquin Valley and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
