Kimberly Winston is a Senior Vice President in Mercury’s New York City office. A former broadcast journalist, she now develops and executes earned media strategy for a broad range of clients.

Kimberly is an award-winning news veteran who played an integral role in developing news coverage at New York’s preeminent 24-hour news channel, NY1. Not only did she produce and manage the highest-rated newscast on NY1 for four years, she also helped redevelop the morning programming into what it is today.

During her 13 years at NY1, Kimberly commanded hundreds of hours of live coverage for countless breaking stories during crisis and high-profile situations, including Hurricane Sandy, Miracle on the Hudson, the 2015 Papal visit and the release of the Mueller report.

Prior to moving to New York City, Kimberly helped launch 24-hour local news channels in Syracuse, NY and Raleigh, NC.

Kimberly has a B.A. in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. A runner with eleven marathons under her belt, she currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
