Leo Dosoretz joined Mercury as legal counsel in 2018 and is based in the firm’s Tampa office. In this capacity, Leo advises the firm on business transactions, regulations, compliance systems, growth projects, and general legal issues.

Prior to joining Mercury, Leo worked at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in Tampa, Florida. At Shumaker, Leo’s practice primarily involved corporate mergers and acquisitions, finance, securities, commercial transactions, and other general corporate legal matters.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Leo attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree (BA) and completed a dual degree in law and music business and entertainment industries (JD/MM) at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He currently serves as the President of the Board of the Hispanic Services Council, and also serves on the Alumni Committee of Tampa Connection. Both Hispanic Services Council and Tampa Connection are nonprofit organizations located in Tampa.
