Nick Lowe grew up in Destin, Florida, working in the hospitality industry. His parents owned several Chick-fil-A franchises, and Nick worked there from an early age, doing everything from mopping floors to working fryers to managing day-to-day operations. Although he eventually became an Assistant General Manager, Nick’s claim to Chick-fil-A fame is that he could juice an entire case of lemons in under six minutes. His experience at Chick-fil-A sparked a passion for service that continues to this day.

After attending the University of Alabama, Nick returned to Florida and became a law enforcement officer. His love of public service distinguished him among his peers, earning him the Committee of 99 Officer of the Year and two bravery awards. He currently serves as a reserve deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

As a Government Affairs Consultant, Nick worked on behalf of clients such as WeatherSTEM and Pyramid Inc. He successfully advocated to have weather stations to assist with education, emergency response, and the monitoring of severe storms; and he secured millions of dollars in funding to increase and maintain facilities for adults with disabilities across our state.

Most recently, Nick served as the Director of Industry, Corporate, Membership and Sponsor Relations for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, which represents more than 1.4 million workers in Florida’s $112 billion hospitality industry. Over the past eight years, Nick’s commitment to serving the service industry has made him one of the association’s top performers. He managed political fundraising, membership budget and retention, and sponsorship.

Regardless of his role, Nick finds ways to serve by raising millions of dollars for nonprofits such as Blue Angels Foundation, Blue Angels Association, Ernie Sims Big Hits Foundation, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Leon County Sheriff’s Office Charity Fund, Leon County Schools Foundation, and First Tee Tallahassee.

Nick is husband to Jessica and father to Jackson, Harper, and Burgin. He remains an avid golfer, sports fan, and concert goer.
