Simon Pereira is a Vice President in Mercury’s New Jersey office, where he provides strategic support for clients leveraging his experience in public affairs and government relations.

Prior to joining Mercury, Simon served as the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff of United States Senator Cory Booker. While serving in the Senate, Simon led the Senator’s Technology and Innovation portfolio, fostering relationships with the tech community in New Jersey, strengthening the Senator’s presence on social media, and providing guidance on issues related to telecommunications policy. Simon also served as an Aide during Senator Booker’s tenure as Mayor of Newark, New Jersey in 2013.

In addition to his career in public service, Simon spent two years in the entertainment industry as an

Assistant at the William Morris Endeavor (WME) talent agency in Beverly Hills, California.

Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Simon earned his Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University in Economics.
