Jamie is a strategic communications adviser with more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses and their leaders within the global energy, industrial, defense and technology sectors.
His focus: enabling those organizations to navigate the intricate web of stakeholder challenges to support corporate reputation, protect licence to operate and underpin prospects for growth.
Jamie has built a track record of successfully advising businesses and their leaders through times of acute stakeholder scrutiny, across markets subject to heavy or changing levels of regulation. He has built cross-border strategic and integrated communications responses to a broad range of needs, advised on special situations, capital markets transactions and a number of issues and crises. He is a hands-on counselor with a track record of effectively addressing the needs of clients’ audiences while ensuring organizational narratives remain focused and effective.
Prior to joining Mercury Jamie was a Partner at FleishmanHillard, leading the UK manufacturing and energy portfolio and before that managing director of corporate reputation for Ketchum in London and senior director for FTI Consulting, focusing on energy and natural resources. He has advised clients extensively across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia.
Jamie is based in London and is Mercury’s lead in the UK and Europe.
