Managing Director
Kimberly Winston is a public affairs and communications strategist with more than 20 years of experience spanning government, journalism, and high-stakes consulting. She excels at message development, crisis communications, and media strategy, and has developed and executed strategic earned media and communications campaigns for a wide range of clients.
Kimberly has served as the Director of External Affairs for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice, where she led stakeholder engagement and public communications for one of the most ambitious urban climate agendas in the country. In this role, she served as a key advisor to the Executive Director, guiding strategic outreach across city agencies, community organizations, businesses, and the media.
She also spent over a decade as an award-winning journalist at NY1, New York City's 24-hour news channel. As Senior Executive Producer, she led the station’s coverage of some of New York City’s most defining events—from Hurricane Sandy and the Miracle on the Hudson to the 2015 Papal visit and the release of the Mueller report. Over her 13-year tenure, she played a critical role in shaping editorial direction, managing newsroom operations, and mentoring rising talent.
Kimberly holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. An avid runner, she has completed 13 marathons across the globe.
