Leila has supported political endeavors and government institutions at all levels, bringing valuable insights from her time in the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, presidential and senatorial campaigns, the Democratic
congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and Run for Something — a nationwide organization committed to recruiting the next generaLon of public servants on the state and local level.

Leila is known for proposing and executing strategic risks, often using a mix of qualitative and quantitative data to gain buy-in from key stakeholders. She successfully pitched and launched the DCCC’s TikTok account, surpassing one million views in the first three months. Leila began her career in traditional press and leverages the fundamentals she learned to propose and execute seamless, holistic communication strategies. She also excels in hands-on creative work, including video editing, graphic design, animation, and photography.

Prior to joining Mercury, Leila ran a consultancy where she advised a wide range of clients on running digital operations, explaining complex concepts in a digestible way for the 21st-century attention span, brand redesign, account growth tactics, and more.

She is a graduate of Boston University with a B.S. in Mass Communication.
