Lorena Robledo
Vice President
As Vice President in the Texas office, Lorena guides clients through their policy needs, including drafting and advocating for legislation on their behalf. She brings expertise in environmental policy, water management, property insurance, and workforce development. Lorena’s expertise on policy issues has enabled her to build strong consensus on critical issues within the state and craft proposals that have been used as models for other states.
Before becoming a lobbyist, Lorena worked in the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas. In that role, she oversaw legislation related to open records, environmental regulations, public finance, and financial litigation for five years. While working with state lawmakers, she successfully shepherded significant bipartisan bills through the state legislature.
Lorena began her political career early. Throughout her college years, she served as an Ambassador with the Department of Multicultural Services. She later became an Aide within the San Antonio City Council and then served as a Policy Analyst in the Texas State Senate. As a Policy Analyst, Lorena focused on transportation, infrastructure, and energy resource policies. She also supported the organization and management of a statewide Blue Ribbon Task Force Committee dedicated to proposals aimed at preventing child abuse. Subsequently, she joined the Department of Family and Protective Services, where she consulted with external child welfare stakeholders and developed legislation on behalf of the Department.
Lorena earned her undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University. In her spare time, Lorena enjoys baking, DIYing, and cozying up with her cats.
