Michael Soliman is a Partner at Mercury, where he leads the New Jersey and Pennsylvania offices and is a principal voice in the firm’s business development. Soliman is also a Guest Lecturer at The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.

Soliman works closely with some of New Jersey’s Congressional delegation and is a trusted advisor to U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer. His impressive career spans more than two decades and includes key positions in several high-profile government offices and political campaigns. Soliman served as U.S. Congressman Rob Menendez’s top political advisor during his 2022 and 2024 campaigns. He was a key political advisor to U.S. Senator Cory Booker during his 2014 campaign and has provided strategic counsel to the late U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg, former Governor Jon Corzine, and former Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, among others. In the past, Soliman was Senator Robert Menendez's State Director and also served as his top political advisor – leading successful re-election campaigns in 2012 and 2018. He also held the role of District Director for U.S. Congressman Steve Rothman. Soliman served on former New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy's transition team upon his election.
