Ramon E. Contreras is a political strategist and government relations professional with nearly a decade of experience in government, campaigns, and advocacy at the city, state, and national levels. He has advised Governors, high-profile candidates, and national organizations on political strategy, coalition building, and grassroots engagement.
As a Special Adviser to Governor Kathy Hochul’s Chief of Staff, Ramon advised senior staff on New York’s political landscape while managing key initiatives for the intergovernmental, community, and legislative affairs departments. He also served as a liaison between the Executive Chamber, New York City Hall, and key external stakeholders on high-priority projects and crisis response.
On the campaign trail, Ramon has held senior roles in multiple high-stakes races, including presidential, mayoral, state assembly, and city council campaigns. In these positions, he led political and community outreach efforts, building coalitions and engaging diverse constituencies across New York and beyond.
He has also advised national organizations, including the Democratic National Committee, March for Our Lives, and The Next 50 PAC, providing expertise in political engagement and grassroots mobilization.
